The Standish Wine Company ‘Lamella’ Shiraz is a monumental, single-vineyard expression of the Barossa Valley, crafted by master winemaker Dan Standish. Sourced from ancient, dry-grown vines in the high-altitude Eden Valley sub-region of Hutton Vale, this cuvée captures the cooler-climate elegance and intense minerality of its site. The nose is breathtakingly complex, wafting with high-toned aromas of wild blackberries, blueberry preserve, and dark plum, interwoven with intricate notes of violet, star anise, crushed granite, and cured meats.

On the palate, it delivers extraordinary weightless power, defined by an ethereal, silk-like texture and immense concentration. A dense core of dark stone fruit and exotic spice is supported by ultrafine, powdered tannins and a vibrant beam of natural acidity that drives through a minute-long finish.
