The Standish Wine Company

The Standish Wine Company is a cult, single-vineyard Barossa Valley Shiraz producer founded by Dan Standish, known for an uncompromising, hands-off winemaking philosophy and tiny production runs that have made the wines intensely sought-after among serious Australian wine collectors. Working old, dry-grown Barossa vineyards and favouring minimal intervention in the cellar, Standish produces wines of real density, perfume and structure that have drawn comparisons to the great wines of the Northern Rhône, and that regularly sell out on release through a closely guarded allocation list.
