From one of Central Otago's most celebrated winemakers, Grant Taylor, and the tiny, limestone-rich Waitaki Valley — a region often compared to Burgundy for its soil profile. Aromas of lemon zest, lime, nashi pear and sweet basil lead into a layered palate of crunchy pear, citrus and green apple, framed by fine texture and steely acidity. Fermented in neutral oak with lees ageing for added silkiness. Serious, savoury, age-worthy Gris with real sense of place.
