Rocche Costamagna Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2021
Rocche Costamagna is a family estate with deep roots in La Morra — six generations of winemakers who have worked to raise the quality of their wines over time, enhancing the exceptional terroir of La Morra and making the most of the fruits of the prestigious Rocche dell'Annunziata Barolo cru, cultivated by the same family for over two centuries. The Barolo del Comune di La Morra is the estate's communal-level wine, a broader expression of the commune drawn from across the family's La Morra holdings rather than the single celebrated Rocche dell'Annunziata cru — 100% Nebbiolo, macerated on skins for around three weeks at 27°C and aged 18 months in oak barrels. The 2021 vintage, one of the finest recent years in Barolo, gives the wine real freshness and energy alongside La Morra's signature perfume.
