Antide takes its name from Jean-François Ganevat's youngest son, and it's fitting that a cuvée born of such patience carries a family name — this is Ganevat's most radical experiment in age. Part of a distinct range the domaine created specifically to push élevage to its extreme, Antide 84 mois spends a full seven years — eighty-four months — maturing before release, without intervention or artifice, made from a blend of green and yellow Savagnin drawn from vines aged 40 to 70 years old, rooted in Lias marl and schistes cartons (paper-thin shale) terroir. To keep it clearly distinct from the domaine's classic yellow-capsule bottlings, these ultra-aged cuvées are sealed under a dark green capsule — a quiet signal that what's inside has been left to develop on a timeline most producers wouldn't dare attempt.

The result is Savagnin at its most profound: a deep, powerful wine carrying white fruit, candied lemon, and orange peel over a core of toasted almond and fresh walnut, all wrapped in the variety's signature nutty, saline intensity. The palate is generous yet remarkably taut, with real volume held in check by laser-like tension and a finish that lingers for minutes rather than seconds — a wine built for contemplation as much as the table.
