Expert tasting note: (2003 vintage) "Deep, dark, ruby-red - not opaque. On the nose the fruit is reticent with rose-petal perfume rising above milky notes & clean, cedary aromas. Fresh, raspberry fruit on the palate combines harmoniously with vanilla oak, cinnamon spice & a soft milky note. Alcohol is very well-balanced, acid is fresh & the fruit lasts well on a long finish.
