Expert tasting note: (2003 vintage) "Deep, dark ruby-red is not quite opaque. The aromas are very typical for Mouton Rothschild with ripe, intense, cassis fruit complimented by clean cedary new oak. The palate displays lively & fine cassis fruit with good acidity, plentiful new oak & very fine tannins. The wine is medium to full-bodied & the fruit has milky touches. There is a long fine finish, that is rounded out by slightly warming alcohol." - 11/07 DCAMW
