Perched on an elevated, stony ridge northeast of Montalcino, the estate’s unique limestone, sand, and shale soils yield a wine famed for its haunting floral perfume, ethereal elegance, and immense aging power. Crafted with exacting precision—fermented in wood vats using only free-run juice and aged in traditional oval Slavonian oak casks—it opens with lifted aromas of wild red cherries, crushed strawberries, incense, dried rose petals, and subtle cedar spice.
