By Farr GC 'Côte Vineyard' Chardonnay is the flagship white from the iconic Geelong estate, created as a tribute to founder Gary Charles Farr ("GC"). Sourced from close-planted, high-density vines on exposed north and east-facing slopes in the Moorabool Valley, it represents the ultimate synthesis of site, vine density, and decades of Burgundian-inspired expertise. Whole-bunch pressed and wild-fermented in 50% new French oak, the wine opens with high-toned aromas of white peach, lemon curd, roasted hazelnut, crushed flint, and delicate white blossoms. On the palate, it strikes a masterclass in weightless power and serene calm—layering rich nectarine and subtle pastry cream over a dense, chalky mineral spine and a laser-like beam of natural acidity, leading to an extraordinarily long, precise, and haunting finish.
