Anne et Jean-Francois Ganevat Sul Q 1001
The name "Sul Q" is a playful French double entendre (sur le cul), translating colloquially to being "knocked off your feet"—and this legendary nectar does exactly that. Crafted by Jura icons Anne and Jean-François Ganevat, Lot 1001 is a rare masterpiece that transcends ordinary sweet wines. Following the traditional Vin de Paille method, old-vine Savagnin grapes are meticulously dried on straw mats for five months to concentrate their natural sugars and acids, followed by a masterful, slow six-year sleep in neutral oak barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal sulfur, it is an profound expression of natural winemaking.
