Pooley Riesling is a benchmark expression of cool-climate Tasmanian Riesling, predominantly sourced from the family's historic estate vineyards in the Coal River Valley. Crafted by winemaker Anna Pooley with minimal intervention, it undergoes cool stainless steel fermentation to preserve site purity and vivid aromatic detail. In the glass, it opens with high-toned, electric aromas of lime juice, green apple, jasmine, crushed flint, and bath salts. On the palate, a laser-like beam of mouthwatering natural acidity cuts through crunchy citrus and green orchard fruit, delivering intense mineral tension, pristine clarity, and a long, bone-dry, saline-laced finish that ages remarkably well over a decade.
