Critic tasting note: (2019 vintage) "Showing a nice depth of color, the fruit is equally dark here with a focus on plums and black cherries. On the palate, the wine is rich, lush, round and full-bodied with a nice soft texture on the mid-palate and in the spicy, peppery, dark red berry and spice-filled finish. Mont Redon ages extremely well, so if you are not in a hurry, let it rest for 5-7 or more years. The wine averages 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and various assorted red grape varietals.
