Expert tasting note: (2015 vintage) "Deep, dark ruby-red color fades a little at the rim. Aromas are concentrated & quite closed dark-fruit has savory/meaty touches. The rich palate is rounded & plush-textured. Ripe raspberry fruit opens beautifully on the mid-palate, continuing to open to reveal truffle hints & dark-cherry fruit. The oak tannins integrate seamlessly with the fruit. Alcohol adds warmth & richness, lifted aromas on the finish verge on the volatile." - 04/24 DCAMW
