Expert tasting note: (2017 vintage) "Deep, vibrant mid-ruby red color is not darkly pigmented. Lively, juicy, lifted raspberry, mulberry & red cherry aromas overlay vanilla, cedar & sweet spice notes. The palate has a concentrated, deep, black-fruit core of bramble, black-cherry & dark, ripe plum. Fine, smooth, mouth filling tannins are full & cedary but not drying. Warming alcohol lifts sweet spice notes & the acidity highlights perfumed red-fruit elements that combine on the finish." - 12/22 DCAMW
