Expert tasting note: (2005 vintage) "Medium to deep, ruby-red color with lovely purple hints at the rim, The aromas are of classically taught dark fruit & toasty/graphite oak. The palate has a lovely blend of lively black fruit & fine structure. Acidity contributes freshness & the alcohol is balanced. There is a good tight oaky finish.
