Leeuwin Estate Chardonnay Art Series 2021

The 2021 vintage delivered a growing season of near-ideal conditions — moderate temperatures, excellent fruit set and a dry, unhurried ripening period — producing a wine of great purity and tension. Pale straw gold in the glass, the nose opens with white peach, nectarine and grapefruit alongside struck flint, cedar and a fine toasty oak integration; the palate is tightly wound and precise, with bright natural acidity framing a core of citrus and stone fruit, cashew and creamy lees complexity building toward a long, mineral finish.
