Domaine Heitz-Lochardet

Domaine Heitz-Lochardet is a relatively young Volnay-based estate, assembled parcel by parcel since 2017 by Olivier Halley — heir to the Carrefour supermarket fortune — with vineyards spread across Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet. Despite its short history, the domaine has rapidly built a reputation for serious, terroir-focused winemaking, working with respected consulting talent and applying meticulous, low-yield viticulture across its holdings. It is increasingly mentioned in the same breath as some of the Côte de Beaune's more established names, and remains one of Burgundy's more interesting and fast-rising addresses to watch.
