Christophe Billon is a Northern Rhône grower based in the Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu appellations, working small parcels of steep, terraced vineyard on the granite and gneiss slopes above the Rhône River. Working with both Syrah and Viognier, Billon's wines are made with a traditionalist's attention to site and minimal cellar intervention, and the domaine has built a quiet but genuine following among those seeking authentic, smaller-production expressions of Côte-Rôtie's structure and Condrieu's perfume away from the appellation's more famous names.
