Named after Pope Clement V, who planted vines here in the early 14th century, Château Pape Clément is one of Bordeaux's oldest and most prestigious estates. Situated in Pessac-Léognan, the estate combines centuries of history with meticulous vineyard management and modern winemaking techniques. Low yields, careful fruit selection and a strong focus on vineyard expression have cemented its reputation as one of Graves' benchmark producers.
The wines are rich, polished and beautifully layered, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot combining to deliver blackcurrant, plum, cedar, tobacco and subtle smoky notes characteristic of the region.
