Expert tasting note: (2005 vintage) "Deep, ruby-red color is almost opaque. Dark fruit aromas on the nose are classically framed by tobacco -leaf & cedar notes. The palate displays lovely open, ripe, dark, cherry & blackcurrant fruit. There are classic meaty notes & a fine structure. Acidity lifts the fruit well & alcohol is beautifully balanced.
