A Fifth Growth estate in Pauillac, Château Haut-Batailley has become increasingly recognised for producing approachable yet classically structured Bordeaux. Since joining the Cazes family of Château Lynch-Bages, significant investment in both vineyard and winery has further elevated the quality and consistency of the estate's wines while preserving their traditional Pauillac character.
Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the blend, bringing aromas of cassis, cedar and graphite complemented by Merlot's generosity and softness. Fine tannins, fresh acidity and restrained oak create wines that are elegant in youth while developing additional depth and complexity with age. Haut-Batailley offers a refined and authentic expression of Pauillac.
