Expert tasting note: (2017 vintage) "Intense ruby-red/red-black with purple hints at the rim. Aromas are of mint, blackcurrant, crunchy blackcurrant-leaf & a touch of eucalypt. On the palate oak reigns-in the vibrant blackcurrant fruit & compliments the fruit tannins. Lovely fresh, crisp acidity gives crunch to the mid-palate & ensures a long finish. The structure is fine & the mid-palate is rounded - its elements, including alcohol, are well-married." - 09/22 DCAMW
