Expert tasting note: (1990 vintage) "The wine's burnished gold color has tawny hues. Aromas are of wax-polish, caramel & orange blossom. The palate is very sweet & shows caramel, apricot & mandarin fruit with touches of marmalade, candied-peel & cinnamon. The acidity is lively from the outset alcohol is balanced & the freshness lifts the finish. Lively notes of mandarin, ripe apricot & honey combine on a spectacular finish." - 02/22 DCAMW
