Bleasdale 'Mulberry Tree' Cabernet Sauvignon is an award-winning, estate-grown benchmark that beautifully showcases the historic Langhorne Creek region in South Australia. Bleasdale’s history with this variety runs deep, and this specific cuvée is named in honor of an ancient mulberry tree planted on the estate property back in 1862. Grown on the region's unique, nutrient-rich alluvial floodplains, the fruit benefits from a cool maritime evening breeze coming off nearby Lake Alexandrina, allowing the Cabernet grapes to ripen slowly while maintaining a bright, natural freshness. The wine is fermented in a mix of open and closed stainless steel vats before spending 12 months maturing in a combination of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads, yielding a smooth, accessible, and masterfully balanced red.

In the glass, it displays a deep, rich crimson-purple color, opening with a classic and inviting varietal bouquet of ripe blackcurrants, dark plums, and crushed mulberries, accented by touches of dried herbs, fresh mint, and a kiss of cedar spice.
